Start with a script
Write or import a script, then choose Rehearse or Record. Manual, constant-speed and voice-follow modes share your reading position. Tap a sentence to reposition; manual scrolling pauses following. Resume prompt returns to the current position.
Voice follow or captions are unavailable
Use a supported language and device, allow microphone access for live voice follow, and let Apple’s local speech model download if requested. Check the audio input and microphone level. If a model cannot be used, continue with manual prompting or edit captions by hand. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Stop, save and recover a recording
Pausing the prompt keeps the camera recording. Stop recording starts saving; wait for Saved before leaving. If interrupted, reopen CueTake and review the available original or recovery notice before deleting anything. Check free space and test your microphone route before an important take.
Retake, assemble and export
Choose a paragraph before recording. Retakes keep earlier files. In Takes → Projects, choose a take for each paragraph, trim or reorder, then render and review. Open captions from the saved assembly, correct text and timings, and export SRT, VTT or a captioned copy. Basic single-take trimming and watermark-free export remain free.
Lifetime Pro and three experiences
CueTake is preparing for release as a free download with a planned US $4.99 non-consumable Pro purchase and no subscription. Final price is shown by Apple. Open a script to use one of three Pro experiences. One workspace can include multiple retakes: an experience is consumed only after a verified recording of at least 10 seconds or 60 seconds of active rehearsal. Leaving ends that session; cancelled or failed work without useful output does not consume an experience. TestFlight transactions are test transactions.
Restore purchases and request a refund
In Settings or the Pro screen, choose Restore purchases using the Apple Account that bought CueTake Pro. Store unavailability does not erase your existing files. If price loading fails, check connectivity and use Retry price. Restoring Pro does not restore deleted scripts or videos. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com; do not send us payment-card details or Apple passwords.
Import Google Docs without signing in
In Google Docs choose Share & export → Send a copy → Word, then share it to CueTake or save it to Files. Review shared imports in CueTake before adding them. A public link works only if anonymous export is allowed. For private links, use a Word copy. Reading styles are preserved where supported; the import is not a page-for-page Word layout.
Keep files, sync and pair devices
Export important originals to Photos or Files before removing CueTake. Optional folder sync shares scripts, not recordings; disconnecting leaves the folder’s files in place. Keep conflict copies until you have reviewed them. For wireless control, enable local-network access on both nearby devices, enter the displayed code and pair trusted devices only. If disconnected, local recording can continue; confirm status on the recording device.
iPhone Duo and other devices
Ordinary iPhone and iPad can use the same script and recording workflow. On compatible iPhone Duo hardware with iOS 27.1 or later, enable Outer display prompting in Framing. Keep the app on the full inner display and choose the camera facing the speaker. If the outer display is unavailable, use single-display or near-lens prompting. Report the fold position and orientation when asking for help.
Contact Arenovo
Email hello@arenovo.com with the app version/build, device model, OS version and steps to reproduce. Help → Share content-free diagnostics can provide a small summary. Remove private text or faces from screenshots; do not email your full script, original recording, password, verification code or pairing code unless the relevant non-secret attachment is necessary and you choose to share it. For data requests, include “CueTake privacy” in the subject.
