Help with your next inspection

Getting started, purchases, reports and data recovery.

Start your first inspection

Create a project from the home screen, add an issue and use the camera or system picker to add evidence. Enter the title, location, description, assignee, priority and due date you need. The sample project contains fictional data and is available for exploring the workflow.

Crop, mark up and review

Open a photo and choose Annotate to crop, draw arrows and shapes, add text, blur an area or cover it. Existing objects can be selected and edited. Edits are non-destructive: the original remains in the library. Use Before and After roles to compare rectification evidence. Blur and covers in an exported image do not erase the stored original or an original-file backup.

Reports and file exports

Open Report, choose one of eight templates and review the scope, branding, fields, photos and page settings. Export PDF, CSV, XLSX or a photo archive through the available export actions. Missing photos block a complete report; you may explicitly choose a marked missing-image version when offered. Wait for generation to finish before sharing. Saved issued reports are fixed snapshots; later edits do not change those copies. Review attachments, signatures and any enabled GPS before sending.

Free download and one-time Pro

The free version allows one project and 20 issues, including every report template and watermark-free export. Pro removes those quantity limits through a one-time non-consumable purchase, with a planned US price of $4.99. There is no subscription or advertising. Archived projects count toward the free allowance. If a purchase is cancelled or access is revoked, existing work can still be viewed, edited and exported.

Restore purchases and refunds

Open Settings → SiteLog Pro → One-time unlock → Restore purchases, using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoring Pro does not restore project data. If the product is temporarily unavailable, keep working and retry when connected. During pre-release testing, local test transactions do not establish a real purchase. Apple manages charges and refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Family Sharing is not promised unless the store explicitly offers it.

iCloud, account changes and conflicts

Open Settings → Your data → iCloud sync and explicitly enable Sync with my iCloud. Use the same Apple account on both devices and check available iCloud space, network access, queued records and downloads. Review conflicting changes before choosing a version. Turning sync off does not delete cloud copies. Account changes require review before local records upload to the new account. Production cloud validation is still in progress during release preparation; keep an exported backup before changing devices.

Backups, deletion and recovery

Use Settings → Your data → Back up library, save the .sitelog file somewhere you trust, and use Restore a backup to inspect and restore it. Existing projects restore as separate copies. Recently deleted normally keeps items for 30 days. To delete synced content, keep sync enabled and allow deletions to finish on your devices; exported copies remain separate. If a photo could not be saved, open Camera photo recovery, export its original if needed, restore the destination and retry. Do not uninstall the app to troubleshoot unsaved photos or drafts.

Permissions and interrupted imports

Allow camera access in system settings to take photos; file and photo imports use items you select. If a cloud-provided source was not downloaded before an interruption, reselect it when prompted. Already staged imports can resume without creating duplicate issues. Leave enough device space for originals, previews, reports and backups. If an operation fails, retain the existing library and report the error before deleting files.

iPhone Duo and other devices

SiteLog supports ordinary iPhone and iPad workflows. Duo-specific layouts and outer-display assistance are available only when the device, OS and current scene allow them. Outer-display assistance is optional and off by default. Any countdown can be cancelled; losing availability revokes the shutter permission. Public screenshots may show simulator examples; they are not evidence of physical Duo camera testing.

Contact support

Email hello@arenovo.com. Include the app version/build, device model, OS version, steps to reproduce and the error text. A screenshot with client details hidden can help. Do not send Apple passwords, verification codes, full site libraries, confidential addresses or unredacted signatures. Support is provided in English and Simplified Chinese. There is no guaranteed response-time or data-recovery service.
