Who provides CueTake

CueTake (映词) is provided by Arenovo. This policy covers the app and these product pages, including pre-release testing. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@arenovo.com. CueTake does not require a CueTake account.

What stays on your device

Scripts, imported document copies and styles, reading positions, settings, practice history, checklists, recordings, assembly projects, captions and Pro-experience records are stored in the app’s local storage. CueTake has no developer-operated service that automatically receives your script, audio or video. System-managed device backups may include app data, depending on your Apple settings.

Camera, microphone and speech

Camera and microphone access are used when you enable recording or voice follow. Voice follow and automatic captions use Apple’s on-device Speech technology on supported devices and languages. A language model may need to download from Apple first. CueTake does not send your recordings to a developer-operated transcription server. You can change permissions in system settings; manual prompting remains available without microphone access. Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Documents and Google Docs

Files and shared document copies you select are copied into CueTake and processed locally. Private Google Docs can be imported as Word copies through the system share sheet or Files; CueTake does not sign in to Google or request access to your Google account. When you choose to import an export-enabled public Google Docs link, CueTake requests the document directly from Google, which receives the document identifier, your network address and normal request metadata. See Google’s privacy policy. These document requests use a temporary session without a persistent cookie store.

Optional folder sync and nearby control

Folder sync writes script content and associated script metadata to the folder you choose in Files, including an iCloud Drive or other file-provider folder. That provider may upload and retain the files under its own terms. Sync does not serve as a video backup. Disconnecting stops CueTake’s use of the folder but does not delete copies there. Nearby wireless control uses Apple MultipeerConnectivity with encrypted sessions. A paired device receives current cue text, prompt progress and recording/pause status, and can send control commands. Device display names are used for discovery. Pair only devices you trust; local-network permission and the pairing code control access. This is not a developer-operated remote-control relay.

Purchases and three Pro experiences

Apple handles App Store payments. CueTake uses StoreKit to check verified purchase and revocation information and restore lifetime access; Arenovo does not receive your payment-card details through the app. Pro-experience sessions and usage are recorded locally to manage the three experiences. Purchase entitlement is separate from scripts and recordings. Apple controls its transaction records and retention.

Exports, retention and deletion

When you export to Photos, Files or another app, the selected destination receives the content you choose. Review scripts, captions, notes and media before sharing. Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app; scripts moved to Trash remain recoverable there. Use storage management to remove takes you no longer need. Removing the app removes its local app container, but does not recall shared files, Photos exports, synced copies or system backups. Manage those copies with the relevant recipient or provider. Cancelling sync or restoring a purchase does not restore deleted recordings.

Website requests and support messages

These pages have no account or upload form, advertising tracker or marketing analytics. Language selection is stored in the page URL. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and may process IP addresses, URLs, timestamps and security metadata, including outside your country; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy and the Arenovo website privacy notice. If you email us, Arenovo and its email providers receive your address, message and attachments. We use them to respond and investigate, and retain them only as necessary for support, security and applicable legal obligations. Diagnostic sharing is optional; the app’s diagnostic summary includes version, OS and device family, not script, audio, video, purchase identifiers or pairing codes. Review anything you attach.

Your rights and policy updates

CueTake contains no advertising or cross-app tracking SDK and Arenovo does not sell personal information. We disclose information only to providers needed for the services described here or when legally required. You can request access, correction or deletion of support information we hold by contacting hello@arenovo.com; applicable rights and exceptions depend on your region. We cannot retrieve or erase files stored only on your device or with a provider you choose. We may ask for proportionate information to verify a request; never send passwords, Apple verification codes or pairing codes. We update this page and its effective date when data practices change.
