SETCUE / SUPPORT

Help for your next session.

Workouts, data and troubleshooting.

Start and control a workout

Open a workout in Workouts, check its interval preview, then choose Start workout. Use Pause / Resume, Next or End on the training screen. Lock controls to prevent accidental changes; unlock before changing the training desk layout.

Plans, exercises and reflections

Today contains your weekly goal, repeating plans, 8 editable arrangements and the exercise library. Add your own exercises or select entries to build a workout. Progress shows training history; open a journal entry or use Add a reflection in a summary to save effort and private notes.

Sound, screen locking and interruptions

Check Settings → Voice and audio settings, the selected cue and alert volume. Notification permissions, device audio routing and iOS background limits can affect reminders. Test with your own headphones and lock-screen settings before relying on a session. Force-quitting the app does not guarantee continued cues; reopen to review an unfinished workout. Keep screen awake is an option for foreground training.

Duo and the training desk

On iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1, the inner display uses a divided training desk. Folding or switching displays should keep the same session. The top training desk button also switches layouts on other supported devices. If an issue occurs, pause first and report the display, fold position and orientation.

Keep your data when changing devices

Workout files can be exported and imported as copies. Weekly plans, goals, custom exercises, favorites, reflections and session history are not included in the existing iCloud workout-library backup. Removing SetCue removes its local app data. The personal training workspace currently has no separate backup/export, so it cannot be restored from a workout file.

Optional iCloud backups

Backups use your private iCloud database and include workout definitions and ordinary settings, not Health metrics, session history, profile measurements, music files or the personal training workspace. Production cloud verification is still in progress during internal testing. Keep independent workout-file copies; do not rely on an unverified backup as your only copy.

Files, public links and deletion

To publish a public training link, open a workout’s sharing controls, review the snapshot and save its management recovery code before sharing the URL. Anyone with the link can view and download it. Installed SetCue can open the link from Messages or other apps; if it opens in a browser, download the training file and use the system share menu to open it in SetCue. Review and confirm import; a link never starts training automatically. In Settings → Published training links, choose Revoke publication or Delete cloud content to block access. These actions cannot recall copies already downloaded. Keep the recovery code private: it restores management access, not the workout content. Local file export/import remains available without the public service. If publishing is temporarily limited, wait and retry; existing links and management controls remain separately available. For a complaint, email the public URL and your concern to hello@arenovo.com, without recovery codes. Deleting the app does not revoke previously published links.

Apple Watch, Health and heart-rate sensors

Health, Bluetooth, Music and notifications are optional permissions. Local foreground timing works without them. Enable Health saving or connect a compatible standard Bluetooth heart-rate sensor in Settings. Watch pairing, Health availability and background behavior depend on the device and OS; these remain part of final real-device testing.

Purchase, reinstall and refunds

SetCue is in internal testing. Its planned US App Store price is $1.99, paid once, with no subscription or in-app purchases. TestFlight testing does not purchase the app. After release, use the purchasing Apple Account to redownload from the App Store. App downloads, Family Sharing eligibility and refunds are handled by Apple; reinstalling does not restore local training data. Apple purchase support.
