Who provides SetCue
SetCue is provided by Arenovo. This policy covers the current SetCue app, its internal testing, these product pages and the optional training-link service. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@arenovo.com. SetCue is not yet publicly released on the App Store.
Information stored on your device
Workout definitions, folders, drafts, settings, training history and optional profile measurements are stored locally. The personal training workspace includes weekly plans, goals, custom exercises, favorites, perceived-effort ratings and reflection notes. This workspace is not included in public workout files or the existing iCloud workout-library backup. Removing the app removes its local workspace. System-managed iCloud and Keychain data are separate and may persist.
Health, heart rate and paired Apple Watch
SetCue accesses Health or saves workouts only with system permission and the relevant feature enabled. A compatible Bluetooth sensor may supply heart-rate readings. Health metrics and profile measurements are used on device and are not uploaded to a SetCue public sharing server or workout-library backup. A paired Watch can transfer training definitions and summaries, including available Health-related summary data, to your iPhone. Apple processes its own services under Apple’s privacy policy. Health data is not used for advertising.
Music, notifications and other permissions
Optional Music/library access, local audio selection, notifications and Bluetooth support the features you choose. Music references may be included in workout files, but music binaries are not. You can manage permissions in system settings. Local foreground timing does not require these optional permissions or a SetCue account.
Optional private iCloud backup
If you use the available iCloud backup function, it sends workout definitions, folders, ordinary settings, template defaults and music references to your private Apple CloudKit database. Backups exclude training history, Health metrics, height, weight, music files and the personal training workspace. Backup copies can be restored or deleted from the app when the service is available. Production cloud validation is still in progress during internal testing; the presence of this feature does not guarantee a successful backup.
Files and content you choose to share
Exporting a workout or using the system share sheet sends the selected file or text to the destination you choose. Workout notes may contain personal information; review them before sharing. Notes from custom exercises are copied into workouts you build and follow those workouts when exported. A shared summary currently contains the workout name and active training time. Public workout files do not include private reflection notes or the personal training workspace. Copies already sent to other people cannot be recalled by deleting your app.
Public training-link sharing
Publishing a link is optional and requires an explicit action in SetCue. Cloudflare Pages/Workers and D1 host the sharing service at setcue.arenovo.com. We store the selected training snapshot, its export metadata and music references, a random public link identifier, a hashed management credential and an idempotency identifier. Music files, Health metrics, training history and the personal training workspace are not uploaded. Anyone with the link can view and download the snapshot. Active snapshots remain available until the publisher revokes the link or deletes cloud content, subject to service availability. Both actions immediately block further access and remove the active stored training content; copies already downloaded by recipients cannot be recalled. Minimal revocation and idempotency records are retained to prevent deleted links from reappearing or being replayed. Provider-managed recovery copies may retain earlier content for up to 30 days under our current Cloudflare plan. The separate revocation journal is checked before restored content can be served. The service does not create its own permanent request-activity log. Rate limiting uses daily rotating keyed hashes of network addresses; windows expire within 48 hours and expired entries are removed during subsequent service requests. Application error messages do not log training content, management credentials or full link URLs. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps and security metadata to deliver and protect the service, including processing outside your country; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Website requests and support messages
These pages provide no accounts or upload forms and add no advertising, marketing analytics or marketing cookies. The language choice is kept in the page URL. Website infrastructure may process IP addresses, URLs, timestamps and security metadata to deliver and protect the site; see the Arenovo website privacy notice. If you email support, we and our email service providers receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Support records are retained only as needed for support, security and applicable legal obligations. Please do not email Health records, passwords, verification codes or recovery codes.
Purchases, advertising and disclosure
Apple handles App Store payments and does not give SetCue your payment-card details. SetCue contains no advertising or cross-app tracking SDK and does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed for the services described here, or disclosed when required by law. This policy does not represent Apple’s independent data practices.
Your choices and requests
Delete local workouts and records from the app, manage system permissions, and delete available iCloud backups through the backup controls. Deleting the app does not automatically delete iCloud backups or revoke any previously published public links. Email the support address for access, correction or deletion requests concerning information held by us; rights and exceptions depend on your location. We may request proportionate information to confirm that a request concerns your data, but do not send passwords or recovery secrets.
