Privacy policy

Who provides SiteLog

SiteLog is provided by Arenovo. This policy covers the SiteLog app, its testing versions and these product pages. Contact hello@arenovo.com for privacy questions or requests. SiteLog is currently preparing for its first App Store release.

Your inspection data

Projects, client and site details, issue descriptions, assignees, dates, tags, photos, annotations, signatures, report branding, attachments, issued reports, drafts and preferences are stored in the app on your device. People and client details are entered by you; SiteLog does not read your system address book. Local work requires no SiteLog account. We do not operate a SiteLog server that receives your inspection library.

Photos, camera and location metadata

Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. You can select photos through the system picker or import files you choose. Original files are kept for non-destructive editing and can include capture times and embedded GPS coordinates. SiteLog reads available photo metadata; it does not request continuous device-location access or track your movements. Photo GPS is excluded from reports by default and is included only when you enable it. Rendered photo exports remove embedded original metadata, but original-file exports and backups can retain it. Review the selected export options and content before sharing.

Optional private iCloud sync

Sync is off unless you choose to enable it. When enabled and available, project and issue records, original photos, annotations, signatures, report settings, branding, attachments and report-history files are sent to your private Apple CloudKit database for use across your devices. Sync uses the Apple account signed in to iCloud, your iCloud storage and system background services. Arenovo has no app feature that lets our staff read your private library. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy. Production sync validation is still in progress during release preparation. Turning sync off keeps local records and does not delete cloud copies; deleting the app does not automatically remove iCloud data.

Exports, backups and recipients

PDF, CSV, XLSX, photo archives, signatures, report attachments and SiteLog backups can contain personal or confidential site information. Exports go to the destination you select through Files, sharing or printing. Library backups contain originals and may contain unedited content even when an exported report shows blur or an opaque cover. Those edits do not erase the original file. Backups are not protected by an additional SiteLog password. Use a storage destination you trust. SiteLog has no public project-link service or public user-content feed. Copies saved elsewhere or sent to recipients must be managed separately.

Retention and deletion

Your library stays on the device until you delete records or remove the app. Recently deleted items are normally retained for 30 days; eligible items are cleared during subsequent app maintenance, and you can choose permanent deletion sooner. Shared assets are removed only when no retained record needs them. Minimal deletion identifiers may remain to prevent old synced copies from reappearing, and recovery queues or conflict versions may remain while an operation needs recovery. When sync is enabled and completes, deletion changes propagate to your other devices; offline devices and Apple-managed copies may update later. To remove cloud records, delete the relevant items while sync is enabled and allow changes to finish before disabling sync. Do not rely on uninstalling the app to erase iCloud data. Exported files and system-managed backups are separate.

Purchases

SiteLog is free to download. The free allowance is one project and 20 issues, including all report templates and watermark-free exports. Optional SiteLog Pro is a non-consumable, one-time purchase with a planned US price of $4.99; local storefronts show the final price. Apple processes payment. StoreKit verifies purchase and restore status on your device; SiteLog does not receive your card number or billing details and does not send receipts to an Arenovo server. Restoring a purchase restores the entitlement, not your inspection data.

Advertising, diagnostics and disclosure

SiteLog includes no advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDK. It does not automatically upload inspection content or app diagnostic logs to Arenovo, and we do not sell personal information. Apple may provide system diagnostics or store reports according to your Apple settings and its policies. Service providers process information necessary for the services described here; information held by us may also be disclosed when legally required.

Website visits and support messages

These pages add no marketing analytics, advertising cookies, account forms or upload forms. Language is selected in the URL. Cloudflare and other website infrastructure may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and security metadata to deliver and protect the website, including processing outside your country; see the Arenovo website privacy notice. If you email support, Arenovo and its email providers receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use those records to respond, investigate and meet applicable legal obligations, and retain them only as needed for those purposes. We cannot retrieve your private device or iCloud library for you. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full confidential site libraries or unredacted client information.

Your choices and privacy requests

Manage camera and photo access in system settings, choose whether to enable iCloud, control GPS in report settings, delete records in the app and manage exported copies in their storage locations. For information held by Arenovo, request access, correction or deletion at hello@arenovo.com. Rights and exceptions depend on your location. We may ask for proportionate information to verify a request, but never your Apple password or verification code. We do not use inspection data for automated decisions about you.

Updates

We will update this page and its effective date when SiteLog features or data practices change. Effective October 19, 2026.
